Our Story
We first connected via the Hinge app - note: Photis was only on it because one of his software engineer friends asked him to test it ; ) . Well, needless to say the matching algorithm was perfect! After some prolonged chatting online while we were both traveling, we finally met in NYC in August 2018 in the Lower East Side.
Over the next two years, we enjoyed the city together, traveled in the States and in Europe, moved in together in mid-2019, and finally Photis proposed last Christmas Day. We both have a passion for learning, science, technology, and always being right that we think make a good foundation to build a family around.

The Wedding
Our wedding will take place in the beautiful coast of Cyprus, an island with a very long history and where Photis' father was born and raised. It may be far for many guests, but is the perfect jumping off point for a vacation with short flights to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and is, in itself, an amazing summer destination.
We will be married at the Church of Ayioi Anargiroi on the scenic cliffs of Cape Greco - a national park and the eastern-most part of the EU. Our ceremony will take place shortly afterwards down the road at the Grecian Park Hotel overlooking the popular Konnos Beach and accompanied with plenty of Polish vodka.

Larnaca Airport (LCA) is the closest airport to our wedding venue and surrounding areas of interest.

ACCOMMODATIONS NOTE
The best places to stay nearest the venue are villas and AirBnB rentals, however many hotel options are available in Protaras and Ayia Napa.
The most cost efficient option are villas that accommodate ~8-10 people. If you would like to book one by yourself or share one with others, feel free to contact us with the estimated dates and we will try our best to help you find the best offer and/or pair you with some of our guests.
Included on this page are a number of accommodation options closest to our wedding venue. Please be aware that the Cape Greco Peninsula is a popular summer destination and you may need to book well in advance.

Villas in Protaras
The most popular accommodation for the stay in Cyprus are villas due to their comfort, luxurious amenities and great price point. They typically accommodate ~8-10 people and are equipped with private pool and/or hot tub. The price per night for entire villa usually ranges from €160-220, however often require 3-7 nights stay.

QUESTION
Where and where will the wedding take place, and when should I arrive?
ANSWER
Our wedding will take place in Ayioi Anargiroi Church. However, our reception will take place in Grecian Park Hotel. Our ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm so please plan to arrive by 6:15pm.
QUESTION
Do I have to RSVP after receiving "Save the Date"?
ANSWER
The wedding planning a trip far from home is very complicated for both guests and hosts. We would greatly appreciate if you could let us know if you are planning to attend our wedding as soon as it would be possible.
